About us

Black and Other UK Home Educators is a non profit making self help organisation. We have a diverse mix of individuals who choose to educate their children at home rather than send their children to school.

Every parent is a home educator, from the minute the children are conceived, onwards throughout a parent and child's entire life.


The type of education that both parents and children choose be it home education, state or private. Is entirely up to each individual and is subject to change at any point. So therefore a child's learning is tailored to their individual needs.


We hope to provide:

* Information for pro-active parents who are interested in their children's learning and who educate their children at home.

* An idea of resources available, giving parents a choice on the style and content of their children's learning.

* Friendship, support, helping both parent and child grown to love and respect not only each other. But their communities and the diverse multicultural world that we all live in.
