Description

Girls Talk London is back with our first and only event of the year in partnership with Facebook and LinkedIn

"A Tech Summit for Black Girls in the UK who want to work in Technology!"

There has been a 13% decrease in the number of Black women working in Technology and we want to address this imbalance by giving black female talent in the UK access to opportunities in this incredible sector.

If you are studying a STEM (Science, technology, engineering & math's) subject at sixth form, college, university or have recently graduated and are looking for a way to break into this competitive sector, this is the event for you!

We welcome those who have not studied STEM subjects at any educational stage but have a strong passion and desire to work in Technology.

Join us on Friday 29th November 2019 at the uber-impressive Facebook London HQ for a day packed full of demos, talks, panels and the opportunity for you to meet with Senior Leaders and recruitment teams from Facebook and LinkedIn. Alongside this, you will be able to meet other black women who have a passion for technology soaking up all the buzz and energy from your peers.

After the Summit, you can take an after-hours tour of Facebook London and join us for our after-party networking mixer!

There is a seat at the table for you. Book your ticket now!

Welcome to a life time of learning

Welcome to home education, this starts from the minute your children are born. Not quite what you are lead to believe. It's so easy to think that nothing has to happen until the magic age of 3 . No, there is a lot we all can do to help our children exist and live in our community. Be it on the door step or further a field.

Family is just about that, encouraging and guiding our young to be themselves. With self worth, having a good self image, a passion to strive and achieve their own goals in life anything is possible.

The only inheritance we can give our children is, to be able to stand on one's own two feet, to look after the family and the community at large. To know how to be strong when feeling weak, not to be afraid to ask and to understand one's own self.
